The NDDB Quality Mark
An umbrella brand identity signifying safe and quality milk & milk products from the dairy cooperatives and producer institutions.
Launched in 2016, the NDDB "Quality Mark" aims to bring about process improvement across the entire value chain—from producer to consumer—to ensure the consistent availability of safe and high-quality milk and dairy products.
Interested Federations, Cooperative Dairies, educational institutes, and Government dairy units are invited to apply for the Quality Mark. Eligibility requires dairy units to adopt robust food safety and quality management systems for milk and milk products, adhering strictly to the parameters outlined in the Quality Mark guidelines.
Once awarded, the Quality Mark is valid for three years, contingent on maintaining stringent quality and food safety standards, and full compliance with the terms and conditions of the agreement.
The Quality Mark has garnered widespread acceptance across the country, proving instrumental in providing dairy cooperatives and producer institutions with a much-needed brand identity and a significant competitive edge in the market.
