Power and duties of the employees
The employees of the board are appointed for carrying out the operations of the board which are in line with the objectives specified in the NDDB Act, 1987. The power & duties of the officers of NDDB are derived mainly from delegation of powers enunciated by the board, job descriptions and terms and conditions of appointment. While discharging duties and responsibilities, employees of the board are complying with the applicable provisions of appointment, rules and regulation framed there under.

The procedure followed in the decision making process, including channels of supervision and accountability are guided by section of the NDDB Act, 1987 and Officers Conduct, Discipline and Appeal Regulations, 1988, as available.
